You start in everyday clothes and do a few loose moves, run a hand through your hair, and on the beat the clip cuts to you as Nightwing, Dick Grayson’s hero after Robin: the black suit with the blue bird across the chest and the domino mask, doing the same moves. It began on 26 February 2026 with cosplayer @dannymosc ("You’ve been asking for this"), 4 million likes and 36 million plays, to the Brazilian funk "FAZ 360 E SENTA".
In March it went AI. Creators used Kling motion control and CapCut templates to put anyone in the suit: Michael Jackson (3 million likes), Cristiano Ronaldo, The Rock, streamers, a dog that got 2.2 million likes. In Brazil it is the asa noturna trend, Portuguese for Nightwing. Others answered with the Nightwing trend no AI: real cosplay, filmed the same way.
In October came the second wave. On 5 October Mexican creator Beth Cast posted her Halloween costume: a blue mask in her hand, mask on, then the suit in a purple room with two glowing escrima sticks (14.9 million plays). AI remakes with El Mariana, Missa Sinfonia and El Rubius followed, and tutorials now call it the Beth Cast Nightwing trend or the Nightwing AI trend.
