What Is the No Scrubs AI Dance?

It is an AI remake of the music video for "No Scrubs", TLC’s 1999 hit about turning down a guy who thinks he is fly. Hype Williams shot the original on a silver space station: T-Boz, Left Eye and Chilli rise in glass tubes, wag their fingers at the camera and dance in front of a giant chrome TLC logo. The song spent four weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, and the video still has one of the most copied looks in pop.

In October 2026 people started putting other faces in those three spots. The first AI version on TikTok was Madea and her friends on 13 October. On 16 October @warped.ai posted streamers Duke Dennis, Fanum and Agent doing the whole video, and Duke laughed through it on stream. Then @herokobaa swapped in Rainbow Six Siege operators and that clip passed 1.4 million plays. From 21 October a CapCut template made it a one-photo trend, and the No Scrubs AI trend (#noscrubsaitrend) filled up with tutorials, basketball teams, friend groups and couples.

The No Scrubs AI dance here works the same way, without the template app. Every video starts from one of the remakes on this page, so it keeps the set, the moves, the camera and the song, and only the dancers change to the people in your photos.

How to Make a No Scrubs AI Dance Video

  1. 1

    Pick a remake

Choose the reference from the remakes on the right: the AMP original, a Siege squad, Madea or one of the template versions. The No Scrubs AI dance copies its shots, moves and timing.

  2. 2

    Upload your crew

One photo for the middle spot, or three for the whole trio: the lead first, then left and right. Anyone you leave out keeps their place in the original.

  3. 3

    Create and post

Your No Scrubs AI dance video keeps the TLC song from the reference, so it plays on the same sound as the rest of the trend when you post it.

Tips for a Better No Scrubs AI Dance

Clear faces, all three

Every member gets a close-up with the finger wag, so for a good No Scrubs AI dance each photo needs the face clearly visible. Skip sunglasses and masks.

Your outfit is the costume

TLC wore silver and white leather; your crew wears whatever is in the photos. Matching fits, team jerseys or work uniforms make a No Scrubs AI dance pop against the chrome set.

Put the lead in the middle

The middle spot gets the most screen time and the top-down shot on the star. Upload that person first.

Wear actual scrubs

Three nurses or doctors in scrubs dancing to "No Scrubs" is the obvious joke, and it lands every time. Upload work photos and pick a trio remake.

Use it responsibly

  • Only upload photos of yourself, of people who said yes, or of your own pets.
  • Do not use it to make someone look like they did something they did not.
  • Label the result as AI when you post it; TikTok and Instagram both have an AI-generated tag.
  • Do not upload photos of TLC, streamers or other famous people; the trend is for putting yourself and the people you know in the video.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the No Scrubs AI dance?

It is the TikTok trend of putting other people into TLC’s 1999 "No Scrubs" music video with AI. The No Scrubs AI dance on this page swaps the dancers in a real remake for the people in your photos, keeping the space station, every move and the song.

Who started the No Scrubs AI trend?

The version that made it a trend is the one with streamers Duke Dennis, Fanum and Agent, posted by @warped.ai on 16 October 2026. A Madea version was up three days earlier, and the Rainbow Six Siege remakes by @herokobaa are the most watched, at over 1.4 million plays.

Where is the original No Scrubs video from?

TLC released "No Scrubs" in 1999 as the first single from their album FanMail. The video, directed by Hype Williams, puts T-Boz, Left Eye and Chilli on a silver space station; every AI remake copies its tubes, logo and shots.

How many photos do I need?

One is enough for a No Scrubs AI dance: it replaces the dancer in the middle. Add three to swap the whole trio, the lead first, then the left and right spots. Waist-up or full-body photos with a clear face work best.

Do I need the CapCut template?

No. The CapCut tutorials send you through TikTok, a template link and an app. Here you pick a remake, upload your photos and download the No Scrubs AI dance video in the browser, on your phone or computer.

Can I do it with my pets?

Yes, the No Scrubs AI dance works with pets. Upload a photo of each pet and pick a trio remake; they take the three spots and do the finger wags with their paws. Clear photos with the whole animal in view work best.

Is there a No Scrubs dance tutorial?

For the real choreography, search "no scrubs dance tutorial" on TikTok, or play the routine Just Dance added in Decades of Hits. If you would rather skip learning it, the No Scrubs AI dance puts you in the video doing every move from one photo.

Is the No Scrubs Just Dance map AI?

That is a different story. When Just Dance added "No Scrubs" to Decades of Hits in October 2026, some players said the city backgrounds outside the tunnels looked AI-made. The No Scrubs AI dance trend is about putting yourself in the music video itself.

How much does it cost?

One video is one use, 700 credits, at 8, 9 or 15 seconds. A single use is $9.90, and packs of 4 and 8 cost less per video. Failed renders are refunded.

What happens to the photos I upload?

They are stored in your account so you can reuse them, sent to the video model only for your render, and never shown to anyone else. You can delete them from your history at any time.

Does the video have a watermark?

No. You download a clean MP4, ready to post on TikTok, Reels or Shorts.

You and two friends

Image 1, Image 2 and Image 3 are the Dancers. A widescreen music video inside a gleaming silver-and-white space station: polished metal tunnels lit in cool blue, glass elevator tubes, and a huge chrome TLC logo on the back wall with a giant metal star on the floor below it. Crisp, glossy, late-90s Hype Williams look. No captions, no watermarks. The three people from the images, in their own clothes, perform the No Scrubs video: each one rises alone in a lit elevator tube, then a close-up of each wagging a finger at the camera and pressing a finger to the lips, then all of them dance side by side in front of the TLC logo with hip sways, arm swings and finger wags on the beat, a top-down shot of one dancer sprawled on the metal star reaching up to the lens, and a low-angle group shot to finish. Image 1 is always in the middle, Image 2 on the left, Image 3 on the right. Keep each person’s face, hairstyle, skin tone, build and outfit exactly as in their image and never swap them. Audio: a 1999 R&B track with a mid-tempo groove, plucked guitar and three women singing a hook about not wanting a scrub.
