@enukcchhx78 on TikTokWhat Is the Toc Toc AI Dance?
It starts with a song: "Toc Toc" by the French entertainer Patrick Sébastien, a 2015 party track built on "toc toc, qui est là?" ("knock knock, who's there?"). In September 2026 a TikTok dance to it went around the world: hop on one foot to the beat, then knock on an invisible door with your fist on the chorus. Sébastien said he was the first one surprised.
Then came the AI version. From 30 September, accounts started posting AI videos of a lineup of strange men, bob haircuts, old brown suits, velvet robes, giant hats, stepping out of a door one after another and hopping straight at the camera. People called them Jean Paul or Jean Phil, compared the hair to Lord Farquaad, and asked in the comments whether they were real. By October the lineups had tens of millions of plays, a college dorm had copied them for real, and the CapCut templates had turned them into babies, gym guys and cats.
The toc toc AI dance is the way to put your own people in that doorway. Instead of a CapCut template that pastes a face on a fixed clip, you take one of the real lineups and swap the dancers for the people in your photos: you first, then your friends, each in the order they come through the door. Every toc toc AI dance video made here starts from one of the posts on this page and keeps its song.
How to Make a Toc Toc AI Dance Video
- 1
Pick a lineup
Choose the reference from the samples on the right: a doorway lineup, a solo hop, a baby, a cat or a cartoon crew. The AI copies its hops, camera and timing beat for beat.
- 2
Upload who comes through the door
One full-body photo per dancer, in the order you want them to appear. One photo is enough; dancers without a photo keep their place in the original.
- 3
Create and post
Your toc toc AI dance video keeps the "Toc Toc" song from the reference, so it lands on the same sound as the rest of the trend when you post it.
Tips for a Funnier Toc Toc AI Dance Video
Use full-body photos
The joke is the hop, the swinging arms and the outfit. A photo cut off at the chest leaves the model guessing your legs, and the walk-out looks stiff.
Order the photos like the reveal
The first photo comes out of the door first. Save the friend who will laugh hardest at it for last, so the lineup ends on them.
Match the number of dancers
The doorway lineups have five to ten characters. Add as many photos as you have friends; the rest of the original crew fills the gaps.
Babies, pets and cartoons work too
Pick the baby, cat or cartoon sample and upload a photo of your toddler, your dog or a drawing. It comes out walking upright and does the hop in the same spot.
Pricing
Each toc toc AI dance video is one use (700 credits), whether you pick 5, 10 or 15 seconds. The price is on the button before you start, and nothing else is added.
A single use is $9.90; packs of 4 and 8 uses, or a monthly plan that posts trend videos to your accounts for you, cost less per video. A render that fails is refunded automatically.
Autopilot plans
Every month we turn the newest trends into meme videos and post them to your accounts. Each post is one of the plan’s videos, and any you make yourself come out of the same count. Cancel any time.
One-time video packs
Pay once and use them on any trend template, at any length. The credits never expire, and the other video tools can spend them too.
Use it responsibly
- Only upload photos of yourself, of people who said yes, or of your own pets.
- Do not use it to make someone look like they did something they did not.
- Label the result as AI when you post it; TikTok and Instagram both have an AI-generated tag.
- Do not upload photos of politicians, celebrities or strangers; the trend is for putting yourself and your friends in the doorway.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is toc toc AI dance?
Toc toc AI dance is the TikTok trend of AI-made lineups, odd bob-haired men in old suits, coming out of a door one by one and hopping at the camera to Patrick Sébastien's "Toc Toc". Here you pick one of those lineups, upload your photos and get the same video with you and your friends as the dancers.
Is the toc toc AI dance real or AI-generated?
The doorway lineups with the bob-haired guys are AI-generated; no one in them is a real person. The trend then went the other way too: real people copied the AI guys, like the Fort Hays State dorm hallway video with 37.2M plays.
What song is used in the toc toc AI dance?
"Toc Toc" by Patrick Sébastien, a French party song from 2015 ("toc toc, qui est là?"). It came back on TikTok in September 2026 with a hop-and-knock dance, and the AI lineups use the same sound. Some edits put it over a phonk remix.
Why is toc toc AI dance trending?
Because it is impossible to watch just once: each new character through the door is weirder than the last, and the hop is so simple that everyone wants to see their friends, their baby or their cat do it. CapCut templates and real-life copies kept it going through October.
Who made the original toc toc AI dance video?
The hop-and-knock dance to the song is credited to the TikTok creator Nooah Prvv. The earliest AI doorway lineup we found was posted on 30 September 2026 by @jeanpatrick619, and accounts such as @craig.janet5 have posted new lineups almost every day since.
How do I do the toc toc AI dance with my friends?
Pick a doorway lineup on this page, upload one full-body photo per friend in the order you want them to come out, and create. Each photo takes one place in the line; the rest of the original crew fills the gaps.
Do I need the CapCut template or Kling?
No. The CapCut "toc toc" templates paste a face onto a fixed clip, and Kling or PixVerse need a reference video and a prompt. Here the reference clips and the prompt are already set up: pick a lineup, add photos and the whole dancer is rendered from your photo.
Can I make a baby or pet version?
Yes. Pick the baby, cat or cartoon sample and upload a photo of your toddler or pet; it walks upright and does the hop in the same spot, with the song.
How much does it cost?
One video is one use, 700 credits, at 5, 10 or 15 seconds. A single use is $9.90, and packs of 4 and 8 cost less per video. Failed renders are refunded.
What happens to the photos I upload?
They are stored in your account so you can reuse them, sent to the video model only for your render, and never shown to anyone else. You can delete them from your history at any time.
Does the video have a watermark?
No. You download a clean MP4, ready to post on TikTok, Reels or Shorts.
Toc Toc, Who Is There?
Pick a lineup, add your friends, and post your toc toc AI dance video while the whole internet is still knocking.
Make my toc toc videoToc Toc AI Dance Prompts
The prompts behind every toc toc AI dance video: the remix prompt that swaps the dancers in a lineup, and three text prompts for the open generator. They describe the doorway, the hop and the knock, so they also work in Kling, PixVerse or any image-to-video model that takes your photo as Image 1.
Doorway lineup
Image 1, Image 2 and Image 3 are the Dancers. A vertical phone video, full body in frame, the camera fixed at chest height at the end of a hallway facing an open door, warm indoor light, crisp and real. No text, no captions, no logos. The three people from the images come out of the open door one after another, each in a slightly old-fashioned outfit (a brown suit, a velvet robe, a tweed jacket), and each performs the Toc Toc dance: stepping out through the doorway, then hopping forward on one foot in time with the beat, arms swinging loosely, shoulders bouncing, a big proud grin, and on the chorus a fist knocking on an invisible door twice, before stepping aside for whoever comes out next. The one from Image 1 comes out first. Keep each person’s face, hairstyle, skin tone and build exactly as in their image and never swap them. Audio: a bouncy French accordion party song with a "toc toc" knocking hook, no dialogue.
Solo hop
Image 1 is the Dancer. A vertical phone video, full body in frame, the camera fixed at chest height at the end of a hallway facing an open door, warm indoor light, crisp and real. No text, no captions, no logos. The person from Image 1 comes out of the door alone, wearing a slightly too-big suit and a bob haircut wig, and performs the Toc Toc dance: stepping out through the doorway, then hopping forward on one foot in time with the beat, arms swinging loosely, shoulders bouncing, a big proud grin, and on the chorus a fist knocking on an invisible door twice, before stepping aside for whoever comes out next, then hops right up to the lens and grins. Keep the Dancer’s face, skin tone and build exactly as in Image 1. Audio: a bouncy French accordion party song with a "toc toc" knocking hook, no dialogue.
Pet in the doorway
Image 1 is the Dancer, an animal. A vertical phone video, full body in frame, the camera fixed at chest height at the end of a hallway facing an open door, warm indoor light, crisp and real. No text, no captions, no logos. The animal from Image 1 walks out of the door upright on its hind legs, wearing a tiny brown suit jacket, and performs the Toc Toc dance: stepping out through the doorway, then hopping forward on one foot in time with the beat, arms swinging loosely, shoulders bouncing, a big proud grin, and on the chorus a fist knocking on an invisible door twice, before stepping aside for whoever comes out next, paws doing the knock. Keep the Dancer’s breed, fur color, markings and eye color exactly as in Image 1. Audio: a bouncy French accordion party song with a "toc toc" knocking hook, no dialogue.
