@lin62411e7u on TikTokWhat Is the Brazilian Funk Dance AI Trend?
Brazilian funk dance AI is an effect that drops the person in your photo into a packed night-time street party in Rio de Janeiro, dancing the same loose, old-school groove as the moustached man in a black T-shirt the effect is built on. It went viral on TikTok in October 2026, first with action heroes in the crowd.
The CapCut template went around with a Portuguese caption, "O funk dance brasileiro que está bombando em todas as redes chegou!", which is why it is posted as funk dance brasileiro AI as much as Brazilian funk dance AI.
The dance itself is closer to charme than to baile funk: the smooth R&B dance of Rio’s Baile Charme parties, the kind held under the Madureira viaduct and at Pedra do Sal. Creators call the template after Seu Zé de Madureira, and most posts use "Say It Right" or "Ice Ice Baby" as the sound. The first clips put Van Damme and Stallone in the crowd; from 18 October the template took off and people started dropping in everyone from Spider-Man to their own dad.
The same name also covers AI pets dancing to Brazilian funk, the most searched version of the trend on TikTok. Brazilian funk dance AI here does both: pick a party clip to put a person in the crowd, or a pet clip to make your dog or cat dance, and the funk dance brasileiro AI video comes back with the music.
How to Make a Brazilian Funk Dance AI Video
- 1
Pick a clip
Choose the reference from the clips on the right: the street party in color or black and white, the solo dancer, or the dog and cat versions. The AI copies its moves, camera and timing.
- 2
Upload who dances
One clear photo of the person or pet who takes the dancer’s place. For a friend dancing next to them, add a second photo.
- 3
Create and post
Your Brazilian funk dance AI video keeps the sound of the clip you picked, so it is ready to post on the same audio as the trend.
Tips for a Better Brazilian Funk Dance AI Video
Use a chest-up or waist-up photo
The party clips are filmed close, from the chest up. A photo framed the same way, face clear and looking near the camera, gives the most natural swap.
Night photos blend in best
The party is lit by floodlights and bulbs. A photo taken in the evening or indoors matches the light better than a bright beach shot.
Black and white hides a lot
If your photo is blurry or badly lit, pick the black-and-white clip. The grainy retro look forgives a weak photo and is the most nostalgic version.
Pets: pick a pet clip
For your dog or cat, choose the dog or the cat crew clip, not a party one. A photo of the whole animal, standing or sitting, works better than a close-up of the face.
Pricing
Each Brazilian funk dance AI video is one use (700 credits), whether you pick 5, 10 or 15 seconds. The price is on the button before you start, and nothing else is added.

One-time video packs
Pay once and use them on any trend template, at any length. The credits never expire, and the other video tools can spend them too.
Use it responsibly
- Only upload photos of yourself, of people who said yes, or of your own pets.
- Do not use it to make someone look like they did something they did not.
- Label the result as AI when you post it; TikTok and Instagram both have an AI-generated tag.
- Do not upload photos of celebrities or other people who did not agree; put yourself, your friends and your pets in the party.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Brazilian funk dance AI?
Brazilian funk dance AI puts the person or pet in your photo into a real clip of the trend: the packed Rio street party, the solo dancer or the dancing dog and cats. It keeps the moves, the camera and the music and only swaps who dances.
What does funk dance brasileiro AI mean?
It is the Portuguese name of the same trend, from the caption the CapCut template was shared with: "O funk dance brasileiro que está bombando em todas as redes chegou!" ("The Brazilian funk dance blowing up everywhere is here!"). Funk dance brasileiro AI and Brazilian funk dance AI are the same effect.
Is it really Brazilian funk?
Not quite. The groove is charme, the smooth R&B dance of Rio’s Baile Charme parties, and the sound is usually "Say It Right" by Nelly Furtado or "Ice Ice Baby" by Vanilla Ice. Baile funk, the dance most people mean by Brazilian funk, is faster, with passinho footwork and hip moves. The AI pet videos on the trend do use real Brazilian funk beats.
Who is Seu Zé de Madureira?
It is the name creators give the template: the moustached man in a black T-shirt dancing in the crowd. Madureira is the Rio neighborhood famous for its Baile Charme under the viaduct, which is where the vibe of the trend comes from.
Why are Van Damme and Stallone in the videos?
The first clips that went viral put action heroes in the crowd, so in Spanish the trend is also called "Van Damme bailando". Here you put yourself, a friend or your pet in their place instead; please do not upload photos of famous people.
Is this the CapCut charme dance template?
It makes the same kind of video without CapCut. The template pastes your face onto a fixed clip; Brazilian funk dance AI renders the whole dancer from your photo inside the clip you pick, so the face, body and outfit match, and you can choose from twelve clips, pets included.
Can I make my dog or cat do the Brazilian funk dance?
Yes. Upload a photo of your pet and pick the dog or the cat crew clip; your pet stands up and dances in the place of the AI animal, with the same beat.
How much does it cost?
One video is one use, 700 credits, at 5, 10 or 15 seconds. A single use is $9.90, and packs of 4 and 8 cost less per video. Failed renders are refunded.
What happens to the photos I upload?
They are stored in your account so you can reuse them, sent to the video model only for your render, and never shown to anyone else. You can delete them from your history at any time.
Does the video have a watermark?
No. You download a clean MP4, ready to post on TikTok, Reels or Shorts.
Who Are You Sending to the Party?
Pick a clip, add a photo, and post your Brazilian funk dance AI video while the whole feed is dancing in Rio.
Make my dance videoBrazilian Funk Dance AI Prompts
The prompts behind every Brazilian funk dance AI video: the remix prompt that swaps the dancer in a clip, and three text prompts for the open generator (the Rio street party, the black-and-white retro look and the pet version). They work in any image-to-video model that takes your photo as Image 1.
Rio street party
Image 1 is the Dancer. A vertical phone video at night in a packed open-air street party in Rio de Janeiro, strings of bare bulbs and floodlights overhead, blue market tents and old painted buildings behind, hundreds of people dancing shoulder to shoulder. The Dancer from Image 1 stands in the front of the crowd, filmed from the chest up, and dances a relaxed, old-school charme groove: shoulders rolling, small side steps, arms swinging low and loose, a little dip of the knees on every beat, head nodding, never looking at the camera, completely in the music. People around them dance too and one of them smiles at the Dancer. Keep the Dancer's face, hair, skin tone, build and outfit exactly as in their image. Handheld, slightly grainy and warm, like a real clip filmed by someone in the crowd. No text, no captions, no logos. Audio: a smooth early-2000s R&B and funk groove with a crowd singing along.
Black-and-white retro
Image 1 is the Dancer. A vertical black-and-white phone video, high contrast and grainy like an old film, at a crowded night party in a Rio square under bright floodlights. The Dancer from Image 1, in a plain black T-shirt, dances in the front of the crowd: a relaxed, old-school charme groove: shoulders rolling, small side steps, arms swinging low and loose, a little dip of the knees on every beat, head nodding, never looking at the camera, completely in the music. Keep the Dancer's face, hair, skin tone, build and outfit exactly as in their image. No text, no captions, no logos. Audio: a smooth early-2000s R&B and funk groove with a crowd singing along.
Pet dances funk
Image 1 is the Dancer, an animal. A vertical phone video in a bright living room. The animal from Image 1 stands upright on its hind legs in the middle of the floor and dances to Brazilian funk: hips swinging, front paws bouncing in front of its chest, little hops on the beat, a happy open mouth. Keep the Dancer’s breed, fur color, markings and eye color exactly as in Image 1. No text, no captions, no logos. Audio: a heavy Brazilian funk beat with a bouncy bass line.
