AI Text Prank: The Fake Photo You Text Your Dad or Boss
The AI text prank without the app. Upload one photo of your own house, yard or worksite, type what “happened” — a storm, a pool that appeared overnight, a horse in the bedroom — and AI puts it into the photo while keeping the building, the fence, the angle and the light, so the person you text knows the place the second it opens. Then the page records the ten-second clip with the trend’s sound under it.
- One photo
- Your own place, unchanged
- The “it went wrong” edit
- Clip with the sound
- No watermark
Leave the box empty and you get the one the trend runs most: a rainstorm over the yard, the fresh concrete soaked and the fence down. Type your own — “a pool appeared overnight”, “Christmas lights all over the house”, “a horse in the bedroom” — and that goes into the photo instead. One thing at a time lands; a list of five looks like a render.

The AI text prank is a photo of your own place with one impossible thing in it — a storm over the new concrete, a pool that appeared overnight — texted to your dad or your boss as if it had happened, then their replies. The photo has to be the place they know, from the angle they know it from.
The half of the trend that runs on work is told to a boss. A slide built into the stairwell of a block of flats, a hole where the driveway was, a wall poured in the wrong place, fresh concrete under a rainstorm. The other half is told to a parent: the house covered in Christmas lights, a satellite dish the size of a trampoline, a horse in the bedroom, a crowd of people outside. The mother version is the accident — the caviar on the carpet, the paint on the sofa. The replies carry it either way, and the best ones are short: “it’s a set of stairs you moron”, “just the roof”, “DOES HE HAVE HIS OWN ZIP CODE”.
The trick people keep missing is that a general AI edit of a house photo rebuilds the house. The roof line moves, the window is in the wrong place, the driveway is gone, and the person you sent it to knows within a second that it is not their place — which is where the reply you were hoping for never arrives. What makes it work is that nothing in the frame changes except the one thing you asked for, and that thing looks like it was photographed by the same phone at the same time of day.
There is a line in this trend and the posts that do well stay on the harmless side of it. A pool, a slide, a dish, a horse and a house full of Christmas lights are funny because they are obviously absurd. The 2025 version — a stranger edited into the house — is the one that had parents calling the police, and it is not what this page makes and not what the trend is now.
This page makes a photo, not a video, because that is what the trend posts: the payload is a still, and the clip is the still sitting under the sound. So the page draws the edit at 2K, then records the ten-second clip with Radetzky March under it in the browser. Send it, screenshot the replies, and post the photo with the chat underneath — that is the whole post.

How to Make the AI Text Prank Photo
- 1
Photograph the place — the one they know
The front of the house from the street or the driveway, the yard from the back door, the site from where you always take the photo. Daylight, no filter, the whole roof or the whole yard in frame. One photo works best: the more of the place the person recognises, the faster the reply lands. Do not use a screenshot, a photo from a listing site or a photo of someone else’s house.
- 2
Say what happened, in one line
“A rainstorm flooded the yard and soaked the new concrete”, “a pool appeared overnight”, “a horse is standing in the bedroom”. One thing, not five. The box takes it in plain English, and everything in the photo stays where it is — the model only adds what you name.
- 3
Make the photo, then the clip
One tap draws the edit at 2K, vertical, on your own photo. Then the page records the ten-second clip with the trend’s sound in the browser. Send the photo in a message, keep the chat open, screenshot the replies when they come, and post the photo with the chat under it — or post the clip on its own. Tell them afterwards.
Tips for a Better AI Text Prank
Take the photo from where they have seen the place
The prank lands on recognition, not on the edit. The driveway shot your dad has seen a hundred times, the yard the boss has looked at every day — that is the angle. A beautiful photo from a drone nobody recognises is wasted.
One thing happened, not five
A pool is funny. A pool, a crane, a helicopter and a fire is a render. The posts that do millions of plays change one thing and leave everything else exactly as it was, including the bins out at the front and the car half in the driveway.
Keep the light and the time of day
The edit inherits the light in your photo, and it has to look like it was taken at the same moment — the same overcast, the same low sun, the same wet ground. A pool glowing in the evening when the photo was shot at noon is the tell.
Do the worksite one with your own trade
The boss half of the trend is builders and trades: concrete, doors, stairwells, scaffolding. Use what your trade would actually be yelled at for, with the words you would actually use — that is why “it’s a set of stairs you moron” is funnier than any invented disaster.
Keep the chat, it is the post
The photo is the setup and the replies are the punchline, so keep the conversation on screen and screenshot the ones that land. The best clips are the thread scrolling with the reply already in it; a photo with no reply is only half the trend.
Send it to someone who will laugh
A partner, a parent, a friend, the boss you actually get on with. Tell them it was made with AI the moment the replies stop being funny, and use TikTok’s AI-generated label — every post in this trend carries it and nobody minds.
Do not do the one that scares people
A stranger in the house, someone hurt, a break-in, a fire at a place someone actually lives in — that is the version that had parents ringing the police in 2025 and it is where this stops being a prank. Nothing on this page makes an emergency at a real home.
Pricing
Each AI text prank photo and its ten-second clip is one use (27 credits), whether you pick 10 seconds. The price is on the button before you start, and nothing else is added.
A single use is $9.90; packs of 4 and 8 uses, or a monthly plan that posts trend videos to your accounts for you, cost less per video. A render that fails is refunded automatically.
Autopilot plans
Every month we turn the newest trends into meme videos and post them to your accounts. Each post is one of the plan’s videos, and any you make yourself come out of the same count. Cancel any time.
One-time video packs
Pay once and use them on any trend template, at any length. The credits never expire, and the other video tools can spend them too.
Use it responsibly
- Only upload photos of yourself, of people who said yes, or of your own pets.
- Do not use it to make someone look like they did something they did not.
- Label the result as AI when you post it; TikTok and Instagram both have an AI-generated tag.
- Only edit a photo of a place you live in or work at. Not someone else’s house, and not a site you are not on.
- Do not make a fake emergency at a house someone lives in — no break-in, no fire, no injured person. People call the police over those, and it is no longer a joke.
- Tell the person it was AI as soon as the replies stop being funny, and keep the screenshot of their reaction off the internet if they mind.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the AI text prank?
A photo prank: you photograph your own house, yard or worksite, put something absurd into it with an AI editor — a storm, a pool that appeared overnight, a horse in the bedroom — and text it to your dad or your boss as if it had happened. The post is the photo and then their replies; the biggest is a fake rainstorm over fresh concrete sent to a boss, 23.6M plays.
How do I make an AI text prank photo?
Take one photo of the place from the angle the person you are pranking knows, upload it here, type what happened in one line, and make the picture. Everything in the photo stays where it is — the building, the fence, the angle, the light — and the model adds only what you named. Then the page records the ten-second clip over the trend’s sound, and you send the photo and screenshot the replies.
Which photo works best?
The one the person you are texting already knows: the front of the house from the street, the yard from the back door, the site from where you always photograph it. Daylight, no filter, no screenshot, the whole roof or the whole yard in frame. The model keeps the place as it is, so the more of it the person recognises, the harder the reply lands.
What is the sound in the videos?
Radetzky March, Op. 228 — the march that carries the biggest posts of the trend, including the horse-in-the-bedroom one at 10.5M plays. The other half of the trend runs on each creator’s own original sound. The ten-second clip this page gives you already has the march under it, so there is nothing to find.
Do I need the Cantina app?
No. Cantina is the app most of the trend’s posts were made in, and it puts its own mark on the screen recording, which is the one thing that gives a prank away. Here the photo is drawn from your own picture at 2K, the edit is on your place and not on a stock scene, and the clip is recorded in the browser with no app interface and no watermark.
Is this the same as a “text prank”?
No. A text prank on TikTok is a fake message screenshot — the autocorrect one, the “we need to talk” one, a made-up conversation with a boyfriend or girlfriend — and nothing in it is a photo of a real place. This is the AI version: a real photo of your own house or site with something impossible in it, sent to a real person, and their real replies are the punchline. “AI prank” on its own is usually prank phone calls; the AI text prank is the photo half.
Can I do it to my mom, not my dad?
Yes, and the mother version is a whole branch of it — the caviar on the carpet, the paint on the sofa, the “look what I did” messages. “AI text prank on parents” and “AI text prank on mom” are what TikTok completes, and the replies are often funnier because mothers ask more questions before they get to the shouting.
Can I do the boss version?
That is half the trend, and the biggest post of all is a boss one. The recipe is your own trade: concrete, doors, stairwells, scaffolding, a slide where the stairs should be. Use the words you would really use in that message, and keep it a site joke — nothing that would read as a real accident report.
Who started it?
The format comes out of the AI photo pranks of late 2025 — a stranger edited into the family house and texted to a parent, which is the version parents rang the police about. It became this in 2026: @jaxns.pranks texted his boss a slide built into a stairwell on 16 June (14.4M plays), @_lillyverysilly texted her boss a rainstorm over fresh concrete on 17 August (23.6M), and the family versions followed over the autumn.
What else is this called?
It shows up as “ai text prank on dad”, “ai text prank on parents”, “ai text prank on mom”, “ai text prank app”, “text prank ai”, “prank ai text message”, “ai house prank” and “dad text prank”, and the posts themselves are captioned “pranking my dad” or “pranking my boss”. The Feishu row and this page use “ai text prank”, which is the wording TikTok completes most.
What is the AI Text Prank prompt?
The the storm over the concrete prompt is in the AI Prompts section below. It starts: "Use the uploaded photo as the base." Paste the rest into any AI video tool that accepts your photos.
One Photo of Your Own Place, One Line
Upload the photo of your house, yard or site, type what happened, and get the fake “it went wrong” picture at 2K on your own place — plus the ten-second clip with the trend’s sound.

AI Text Prank Prompt
The prompt this page runs, so you can make the same edit in any image model that takes a photo. It keeps the building, the fence, the angle and the light, and adds only the one thing you name. The six versions above — the storm, the pool, the Christmas lights, the tree through the roof, the satellite dish and the horse — are this same prompt with a different line at the end.
The storm over the concrete
Use the uploaded photo as the base. This is an "AI text prank" edit, so the picture stays the same photo of the same real place, taken from the same spot at the same time of day, and only the thing that "happened" changes. Keep the building, its shape, roof, walls, windows, doors and colours, the fence, the gate, the driveway, the trees, the street, the neighbours' houses, the sky, the camera angle, the lens, the framing and the direction of the light exactly as they are in the photo. Do not move the camera, do not re-crop, do not change the season, do not change the time of day, and do not rebuild the place from scratch. Add this, as if it were already there when the photo was taken: a heavy rainstorm has just passed over: the yard is flooded with shallow water, the fresh concrete slab is soaked with footprints and puddles in it, and the fence is leaning over. What you add has to sit in that scene the way a real thing would: correct scale against the building, the fence and any person in the frame, its own shadow falling the way the light in the photo falls, mud, dust, water, tyre marks or debris landing on the surfaces that actually exist in the photo, and wet edges and reflections on the ground where the ground is. Nothing already in the photo is removed or covered up. Make it look like an ordinary phone photo someone took in a hurry: natural daylight, real texture on brick, concrete, grass and metal, sharp where the phone was sharp, the same grain and the same colour as the rest of the frame, no glow, no painted look, no perfect symmetry. Do not add people or animals unless the request names them. No text, no caption, no sticker, no emoji, no app interface, no logo, no watermark.
Other versions: A pool that appeared overnight · The whole house in Christmas lights · A tree through the roof · The satellite dish that fixed the Wi-Fi · The new dog
